When Australia finally comes to terms that its zero Covid strategy to contain the coronavirus pandemic is a mere illusion, which is politically laughable considering that the country has the lowest vaccination rate among the developed countries.

Thanks to “dose sharing” with friendly developed countries, no one expects the land of kangaroos to fail in bringing down the number of Covid-🇦🇺 infections, thus putting an end to recurring lockdowns before the festive season.

When healthy or asymptomatic members of the public, who suspect that they might have contracted Covid-19 but with no life-threatening or emergency conditions, are conveniently dialing 995, thus depriving those who genuinely need the service urgently from doing so.

How many lives could have been saved globally had there been fewer or no COVID-995 calls?

Let’s not shame ourselves for our clothes fitting a bit more snugly that they did before Covid. It is a crazy time for all of us and we need that comfort food to keep us from going insane! During covid we all need a hug, even if it is from our pants!
