The T.V. show that made David Hasselhoff famous, as well as the talking car K.I.T.T. Basically a thrown together detective story centering on KITT and his various gadgets with some notable enemies, K.A.R.R, the evil KITT and Evil Michael Knight. Was on between Airwolf and A-Team during the 80's. One of those shows you only loved if you were a kid when it was aired.

A person (usually a male) who sees the typical maiden in distress, and believes that he can help her. A male version of the "mother figure" that some girls become.
White knight term can also be applied to a person participating in online forum who is not tasked with moderating it, but engages in the activity nonetheless - so-called backseat modding. The underlying causes for the behaviour are the same - person is anthropomorphising the forum and sees it as a "maiden in distress" and charges to the rescue.

a notorious high school street gang/secret society of Dublin, Ohio renowned for their chess-playing skills.
The group holds much influence at the Dublin schools. It had humble beginnings as it was originally a simple middle school chess club. Later, it evolved into an alliance of nerds, geeks, bandies, and outcasts of every possible kind. The organization’s top seven members sit together at a special table each day during lunch. On designated days, the members of this federation wear a distinctive, black Checkmate! shirt that strikes fear into their enemies.

A Black Knight is similar to a White Knight, but only in its goal. While a White Knight Simps a women, a Black Knight acts rude and macho. The Black Knight might act like he doesn't want the girl, and even play hard to get.
