SoHud/Washington Beach is generally agreed to be bordered by East Hudson Street to the north, the former Conrail railroad tracks to the east, East Lane Avenue to the south, and Indianola Avenue to the west.
Void of more traditional retail endeavors, the neighborhood is home to a number of bars and live music venues, a vegan friendly restaurant, and a record store. Crime is not unheard of, although encounters with insufferable Social Justice Warriors (SJW) are more likely.
