The intensely felt need to see and experience the world by travelling to and/or living in other countries. Mostly caught during the first early travel experiences and very hard to dispose of. Could also be defined as synonym for wanderlust or itchy feet.

The strange and gnawing feeling when you return from travelling and finally arrive at home that tells you that somehow you're in the wrong place and should just get your stuff cleaned and packed again instead, and get on the next available cab to the airport. That's when the gypsy bug bites you.

Chug Bug

The feeling you get after chugging more beer than your stomach can comfortably contain. Basically you stand there, swallowing repeatedly and not talking to anybody, until the danger of puking fades and you can continue drinking.

"Year 2000 Bug"

1) A software bug caused by the use of 2-digit numbers to represent the 20th century year. When the date became 2000, some software thought it was actually 1900 (or some other incorrect date).

2) A bunch of bullcrap made up by paranoid doom-saying wackos and the computer-ignorant media.

Love Bug

A bug that literally does nothing besides have sex all day. Every May and September is "love bug season", when they infest the southeastern United States in month-long cycle of reproducing and dying.

They don't bite, carry disease, or eat crops, but they do annoy the hell out of everyone because there's so many of them.

These love bug carcasses are ruining my car's paint job!
