Ok well its a big room in the mall that sells clothes and stuff! Hot Topic is a STORE people its not a freakin "poser hangout"! Hot topic is a store that sells music related items. I do admit it is a little bit overpriced ($40 for a hoodie WTF!!) but if you dont like it DON'T SHOP THERE! Personally I love Hot Topic. The clothes are pretty cute but some of them Suck ass. Do i consider my self "goth" , "punk" or "a rebel" because i shop there? NO!! I shop there becaue i, WHAT *GASP* like the stuff there! The only posers are the ones who think they are Fighting the System by shopping there. (by the way i am not some 11yr old stealing her daddy's credit card to buy some corset and be cool, my parents dont care where i shop and dont even let me use thier credit card)
Me: I saw this cute Ramones T-shirt on the Hot Topic site Im going to buy it in the store
Poser: OMG Sam Your soo Punk Rock Im soo going to tell my parents you shop at hot topic so they think im rebelling! FUCK THE SYSTEM!! Then im going to buy a Green Day T-shirt and pretend to listen to them!!!

I saw a lot more Metallica shirts than My Chemical Romance shirts.
Hot Topic is just a store for fucking music, people. It's not just for emos and goths.

I like this store, but why do people call other people posers, why b/c they shop at a Hot Topic store? or they don't make their own clothes b/c you might think they're too lazy to do so. Maybe they want to their favorite tee, with their fav band on it..Anywayz, what I'm tryin' to say is that, any store could be selling the same products, but at a much higher price...

A store in our scary mall where a tiny piece of shadow where all of us original and "different" nad "gothic" people can enojy the black light. For one thing no one even knows the definition of "Gothic" or "Prep" and why we use these words is above me. It happens to be right across Hollister where popular and "preppy" girls go and buy bikinis where the less material there is the more it costs. Hot Topic is my choice of the two, and the labels will fly. People say they hate labels and yet they use them too. We'll survive.
"Preps": Ewww...she's wearing all black from Hot Topic. My mom said store is run by the devil. Hey, are you a goth?
"Goth": I say Hollister is a I-wanna-be-just-like-everyone-else store and Hot Topic is where you can be different than all of you....*stalks off*
