Wasabi's Law

If it burns going in it will burn coming out.

Geees, that sushi was hot when I ate it and hot when it came out.

Bruh, that's wasabi's law.

Ebola's Law

If any game is poorly rendered, with a thick fog, and dark graphics, it will have a creepypasta made of it. PS1 based horror games follow this formula, for instance. Early editions of minecraft fall under this definition as well. This law is related to the phenomenon of liminal spaces, though it is limited to video games, especially older games. These games also tend to be 3d titles, though they do not always have to be as such. Other games with a generally unfitting creepy/unfinished atmosphere also follow this law, such as gmod's gm_construct, or pokemon's lavender town.

noun

"Herobrine is so lame, dude. How did it even catch on?"
"Ebola's law, my dude. Ebola's law."

"Fuck me, Gm_construct is unsettling. It makes for a good example of Ebola's law, though."

Godwin's Law

Godwin's Law states that "the longer a heated Internet discussion goes on for, the more likely it is that someone will compare their opponent(s) to Hitler, the Nazis, or Nazi Germany in general."

Anyone who invokes Godwin's Law in an argument is said to automatically lose by default, even if it is perfectly reasonable; because if you resort to comparing your opponent to arguably the most evil dictator in the world obviously implies that A) You know you're wrong, B) You've run out of ideas, and C) You're a sore loser and want to make your opponent look bad, even though it does the exact opposite.

The only (incredibly rare) exception is if the person is legitimately comparable to him (for example, if they are massively racist, especially anti-Semitic, for no discernible reason), but even then it usually still has the same result.

Bipat's Law

Bipat's Law is that anything said by the poster should be taken as absolute truth, even in the face of evidence proving otherwise.

Bipat: X happened.

A.N.Other: Provides evidence X did not happen.

Bipat: It did. I have personal knowledge.

Bipat's Law is that personal knowledge overrules evidence.

Law of Deveyra

The idea behind an idea is always better than the reality of doing it.

For example: Going out for a smoke because you're bored but realizing you're just as bored but with a smoke in your hand.

Going out to clubs sounds fun, once you're there you realize you rather want to go home and thus continue the circle of Deveyra's Law.

"-Dude, i went out clubbing last night and law of Deveyra were implied. I should've stayed home."

"- I'm bored, lets go for a walk!
- Before you decide, contemplate Deveyra's law."
