Straight Edge was originally started By Ian McAye and the band Minor Threat in 1981. Being Straight edge is keeping yourself pure and not polluting your body with Alchohol, Drugs, and other Substances. Some Straight Edge followers do not eat meat or dairy, some do not ingest caffine, or even sugar. The Mark of Straight edge is three X's (X X X) sometimes abreviated sXe, Straight Edge followers typically wear two X's on the backs of their hands at hardcore shows, or sometimes everyday, Bouncers back in the day would mark underaged concergoers so bartenders would know not to serve them alchoholic beverages, so the Straight Edge followers took that symbol and made it into their mark. Many Followers belive that the three X's stand for: No Alchohol, No Drugs, No Sex (permiscious sex), but some think it stands for Body, Mind, and Soul.
Straight Edge is the only way I can live, and I will hold true forever. XXX

To pull on someone's hair hard enough to pull out their extensions or weave. This is like snatching someone's wig, but is instead about extensions/weaves rather than a wig. It can also be used as a metaphor for being surprised just like snatching someone's wig is used.
Sheniqua was snatching edges metaphorically when she literally snatched Tuwanda's edges by pulling out her extensions.

Yes, there is a band, Minor Threat, (my most favorite band of all time)(trust me, i know alot about these guys), and they had a song called "straight edge". However, the motion of this whole straight edge skeet is based on the song "out of step" by minor threat:

If you listen to the origional version of "out of step", you will hear him say in the middle on the song:

fuckin, or whether they're playing golf."" if you really knew shit about this wonderful band, and you heard what they had to say, then you would realize that this movement is something YOU guys made up, and they just shrugged at that. This is not a movement with HELLA detailed rules like you may think. In fact, it was not supposed to be a movement at all.

the "basics" of what people have set to this is that you dont smoke, drink and fuckAROUND with smoking or drinking. its not X-X-X its really only 2 X's for you guys. it doesnt matter about that shit, its not worth arguing about.
you can be clean and sober for yourself, and not make a billboard out of yourself about it.

An incredibly closed-minded twat who lives in a world ruled by government propaganda. Their lifestyle (is supposed to) consist of:no drinking, no drugs and no casual sex; very boring in other words.
