british people

Basically the backbone of the american lookout. We see them as the cool ones, and were just a bunch of jackasses! They can make anything sound cool like "Bananas in Pajamas." Smart and very funny people. (monty python)

Euro-Trip: Total stereotype of Brits. Yet, still funny in the way that the Brits are presented by swearing like scalliwags and drinking non-stop! Also very sporting for MANCHESTER UNITED THE GREATEST FOOTBALL TEAM EVER!!!!!!!!

British Pound

The Currency used in Britain. Pounds sterling. Made up pounds (ยฃ) and pence (p). There are 100 pennies to the pound. The actual currency (the coins and notes) go up in 1,2,5 up to ยฃ50 notes (apparently there are ยฃ100 notes but you never see them, and most shops wouldn't accept it cos they never see it so it could be faked). Most the money has a picture of the queen on, but you can also find darwin, adam smith, elgar etc.
1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, ยฃ1, ยฃ2, (that's all the coins).
ยฃ5, ยฃ10, ยฃ20 (that's the notes).

Definitely not monopoly money, because it is worth twice the dollar!

I bought a bottle of vodka for ยฃ5!
Apparently if you draw on the queen on the note, it counts as treason.
The British Pound as we know it was introduced in 1971

British Isles

The British Isles is the collective name for the islands of Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and all of the surrounding islets. The term is used mainly referring to weather and nature stuff, and also has some cultural use. Some Irish people have hard reservations about the term being applied to the island of Ireland, and so the British and Irish governments no longer use it. But Irish people who are not insecure about Ireland's future have no problem with the term, recognising that its just the name of a place, not a secret government.

Origin: Britain and Ireland were called "Britain" and "Britanis" in Roman times, which translates as Great Britain and Little Britain.

"This species of owl can be found throughout the British Isles.."

"Ireland was separated from the British Isles in 1922, we went out and cut it loose, so fuck off with your owls"
