clear the air

When two people are arguing or having a misunderstanding, 'clearing the air' means having an honest discussion about feelings in order to move past the conflict.

Person A: "I think we need to clear the air after what happened the other day."
Person B: "Alright. What do you want to say?"
Person A: "The other day when you said what you said, it really hurt me."
Person B: "I only said that because you hurt me by saying what you said."
Person A: "Oh I see. Well, I'm sorry I said that. I didn't mean anything bad by it."
Person B: "That's okay. I'm sorry too."

Bel Air

where Will Smith grew up with his aunt and uncle so that he could get a better education

In west Philadelphia
born and raised
on the playground is where I spent
most of my days
chilling out, maxing
and relaxing all cool
and all shooting some b-ball
outside of school
when a couple of guys
they were up to no good
started making trouble in our neighborhood
i got in one little fight and my mom got scared
she said your moving
in with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air

walking on air

1. Happily drunk.

2. So happy as to be almost delirious; in a pleasant daze.

1. While Sarah was walking on air, she sang a completely stupid song.

2. When I found out my parents were getting me a kitten for Christmas, I was walking on air for the rest of the day.

Air Mine

Quite simply a highly toxic fart left in a room when its main occupant is not present, to be discovered later when the occupant returns. This form of warfare has been outlawed by NATO but is still in use in many urban office engagement zones.

I left an air mine for Richard and it almost killed him.

air hoops

The art of playing basketball, only with a fake ball and an overactive imagination.

Useful in mainly, but not limited to, these settings: when in front of a mirror, in prison, in a living room, when procrastibating is not an option, and telling a story with probable embelishment.

Can be played by yourself or with others(real people or friends you made up)

Tard 1: Wanna go play some hoops?

Tard 2: Naw, I don't want to get all sweaty. I'm going to work on my jumper here in the living room and play some air hoops.

(Simulates shooting a basketball)

Tard 1: Dang, you smart! I'll join you. Hmm, maybe we should work on our pick and roll also!
