Boys who could have potential if they washed their long hair. A greasy scrub has a nice face which is hidden, wears skinny jeans with large hoodies, and attempts to skateboard. They are usually emo-wannabes, that look as if they have butter poured on the top of there heads, leading down to their faces.

Rachele: Ewww, Tyler's such a greasy scrub, just look at that hair.
Sophie:It's like he bathes in butter.

One who, despite constant encouragement from real otaku, only watches dubbed anime, and refuses to watch any subbed anime regardless of the circumstances.

"I told Kyle to watch Higurashi the other day and he refused, on the grounds that Higurashi has no finished dub; he's such a dub-scrubs."

When a lighthearted comedy or TV show suddenly turns unnecessarily serious and/or introspective.

Well-dressed white people at a trendy bar/club:

Jenny - "I'm having so much fun! Let's all do a shot!"
Johny - "We're all so pretty and happy! That sounds great!"
Janice - "It's so important to live for today! I just found out I have a terminal disease. And my house burned down."
Jenny - "Wow! What a Scrubs Moment! Hopefully it will be resolved after this commercial break!"
