What happens when one spends the majority of their time playing video games and posting on gaming forums. This usually results in oversimplifying every argument one hears that is against their preconcieved notions, and resorting to very emotional black and white style rebuttals.
Person A: I don't think the new Resident Evil games are as good as the classics, but they're definitely fun.
Person B: YOU JUST LIKE ARCHAIC GAME DESIGN, ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS NOSTALGIA.

A girl who repeatedly Plays video games, either for a living, as a hobby, or just for fun.
Usually very good at most games, has a lot of consoles, knows a fair few tricks and hacks.

A Girl Gamer is the female version of the ultimate Gamer.
While most people believe that the Girl Gamer is a Mythical creature, they can often be found glued to their xbox during the winter (hybernation) period.
It is commonly believed that most Girl Gamers are ugly or fat or guys but this is not always the case.
Girl Gamers are known to be just as foul mouthed (if not worse) than the average Gamer, and regularly threaten to murder anyone who ruins a perfect K/D ratio.
Girl Gamers are a rare and magnificent species, and those that do exist are feared by the Guy Gamers.

A female who plays video games. In general, female gamers don't need to play hardcore games- to most boys, if the girl plays video games, understands the game on a deeper level having beaten it or played it religious, and whose favorite video game is NOT Mrs. Pacman, they can pass as a female gamer.
Not necessarily fantasic at every game she plays, nor can she whoop everyone. Simply that she plays video games to past time, and because she enjoys it, she's a gamer.
Same with males.
Certainly rarer than male gamers, given that females have a tendency to be more interested in things that don't otherwise promote violence or force them to think logically.
Err, yeah. Gamer chicks are an endangered species.
