Coon tune

As sung by ZZ Top and as used by gearheads/motorheads for decades a coon tune is a tune up without new parts. Clean the plugs, set the dwell and timing, adjust the carb. This was done before a race or a night of cruising that some action with other cars was expected. After the night out, the car was detuned for easier driving and better mileage. Don't know if it's racist or not but black folks back in the day generally didn't have a lot of bread. Don't hear it used much anymore probably because it sounds it.

coons age

Normally raccoons normally live roughly 5-6 years in the wild. However once in awhile you will find a big grizzly one that is about 15-16 years old. This my friends, is what you call a "coon's age".

I've had that dog for a coons age, I wouldn't give it up.

This commonly refers to a caucasian female (often very trashy) who typically prefers to have sexual relations with uneducated black men.

Bare feet. Referring to coons inability to afford footwear.

I was too lazy to find my shoes so i just wore my coon boots.

A closed environment where black people (jungle bunnies) are usually sent to after they prove to be a skidmark to societys underwear as they are expected to be. A.K.A jail

Correctional Officer 1 - "Hey we rounded up 20 jungle bunnies in the Marcy Projects today"

Coon bath

Taking a bath/shower in the lake, a river, a creek or a pool, whether it's theirs or not.

I saw Obama yesterday in my pool takin' a coon bath, he was washin' himself and everything.
