something up your sleeve

Poker players who were (or are) less than honest, were known to keep an extra Ace or two stashed up their sleeve. This could be retrieved when needed either by means of slipping it out or by a spring loaded mechanical device that would slid the card out when pressed.

Everybody put your hands on the table. Slim, I think you've got something up your sleeve besides your arm.

Never nothing always something

Never nothing, always something is said to lament the horror that is facing the onslaught of never ending BS coming out of life's daily firehose at you.

This is clearly an absurd amount of BS piling up. Never nothing always something man.

something to tell the kids about

A big event in one's life (usually exaggerated) a phrase mostly used by people who've yet to procreate and want to express their amazement on a happening.

Evan: Wow did you see Nick play that touch down?

Harvey: Yea, that's certainly something to tell the kids about.

Evan: Hell yea.

Am I interrupting something?

phrase. Said whenever you realize that you have walked in on an intimate moment of a relationship. The most common response is a short silence, then a no.

Person: *walks into room* Hi! Oh.... Am I interrupting something?
Couple vigorously banging: .....................no.
