A genre DIY indie music, bedroom pop is characterized by its lo-fi quality and often contemplative lyrics. Bedroom pop share elements with other indie genres including shoegaze, dream pop, jangle pop, and emo. Guitars and vocals often feature heavy use of reverb or delay.

Any soda from a vending machine, or ice chest, which is chilled to perfection and very satisfying at 3:30 in the morning when you wake to the smell of neighbors barbecuing at your apartment complex, only to find that "Oh, Lord Jesus - It's a fire", and you have to run for your life, forgetting your shoes and everything, Jesus. Ain't nobody got time for that.

A genre of music that blends pop hooks, sing-a-long melodies and bubblegum guitar riffs with horror themed lyrics and imagery, when applicable. Relatable pop genre tropes such as love, break-ups and family struggles are still present and addressed. The topics are discussed with lyrical twists that plant the songs firmly in the realm of an upbeat horror movie akin to films such as “The Monster Squad”. Putting the listener in a fun, lighthearted, upbeat world, being a new escape for them.

The genre offers a new voice for those out there that enjoy pop music itself but are not enthralled by the generic and cliché lyrics. Through Pop-Horror, they now have a form of pop music with lyrics that are more suited for their mindset, being a genre that understands its fans.
The genre emphasizes individualism, confidence, creativity, imagination, passion and fun. Also reassuring its fans that they are not alone, and that they have found their family.
Pop-Horror is a new genre of music created and led by the band, Friday on Elm Street.

Britney Spears is often hailed as the ‘princess of pop’ by just not fans, but by the media who created and gave her that title..and for good reason. She is the pop princess loved around the world, whether she’s in the middle of a break down or family drama. The impact she had not just musically but as well as culturally. Will forever be the blueprint for the pop stars who came after her. The original “good-girl-gone-grown”. She pushed boundaries for teen-girls and female young adults, to express their sensuality. She massively helped shaping Pop music and Pop Culture as a whole. Her album “Blackout” alone, speaks for itself how massively she impacted. Eternally the Princess of Pop.
