When you realize that your effort or past, or what people think or say about your shortcomings, inadequacies, or failures, doesnβt determine your future, but God does, because He is in control of the universe and of your life.
Until you let go and let God Be in charge of your life, itβs hard for you to see His blessings flow through your lifeβGod is concerned about what concerns you, because He wants you to experience his power, not just knowing about Him and His goodness.

An excellent novel written by Zora Neale Hurston in 1937. The book details the life of Janie Crawford , a Southern black woman, and her search to find her voice and her one true love. This novel was popularized partly by it's inclusion as required reading within some high school English classes, Oprah Winfreyβs book club, and the fact that it is very original and enthralling, giving the reader a new sense of what the world was like in the 1930βs through the eyes of a strong-willed black woman.
Student #1: Is Mrs. Essigmann making your class read 'Their Eyes Were Watching God', too?
Student #2: Shut the fuck up.
