Everyone in life has troubles be them physical or mental. Whether rich or poor the heartaches of life escape no one.

Be kind, give people a break, don't be so quick to anger or judge because, Everybody has a bag of rocks to carry.

All the tools and no box to carry them in.

A person or coworker that appears to have intelligence and talent, but continues to screw things up on a regular basis.

Man, I used to think that guy had his shit together. He's such a screw up.
He's got all the tools and no box to carry them in.

Walk tall, carrying a big stick.

Walk tall and carry a big stick means: Describes person who is prepared to take action, take charge, take over; to be a fearless authority figure, known for using punitive measures sparsely but always accurately, swiftly and appropriate to the crime when needed. Punishment was always dealt fairly (hence walking tall; as in able to hold ones head high, with integrity)

In her classroom, Ms. Apple walked tall; carrying a big stick. Her smiles w ere earned and her praise was for those truly deserving of it. Her students were always on task and received the highest test scores in the whole school. No one dared step out of line when she was in charge.

The other saying was Roosevelt's..."Speak softly and carry a big stick"...which had to do with his negotiations of foreign policy.

Some say it wrong, as in "Walk softly and carry a big stick." That phrase dates back to the 1960's and '70s when Snipe hunting was all the rage. One had to "walk softly and carry a big stick" so one could sneak up on those little buggers in the bushes and be ready to bash them with the stick...

Ms. Apple "walked tall carrying a big stick." Her class was always on task and earned the highest state test scores in the building. From: Walk tall, carrying a big stick.

Speak softly, but carry a big @

An admonition, intended for bosses, to avoid giving unpleasant news face to face, but rather save it for an email. ("@" is pronounced "at sign".)

I told everybody at last month's department meeting that the future looked bright. Two weeks later I send them all an email about the budget cuts and layoffs. It saves me listening to a lot of bitching from that bunch of peons. My daddy taught me a long time ago to Speak softly, but carry a big @!

id rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6

A millitary saying that means...you would rather accidently kill a civilian then the chance that it is not a civilian and he kills u..
so that way u go to court and get judged to see if u get jail time..
instead of going home in a body bag carried by your fellow soilders

soilder: that man has a wepon im going to take him down!

liberal fagot: no u cant he hasent shot at u yet! we have to wait for him to shoot and then u can engage in action.

soilder: wtf he has a wepon and its pointed in our direction! if he shoots at us 1 of us might get hit and die!

liberal fagot: thats a chance we have to take!

soilder: what the fuck ever id rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6
(bang bang)

liberal fagot: no i cant bealive u killed him without him killin 1 of us first!
