A band that has made a facebook page and discusses picture opportunities and makes t-shirts...but hasn't actually written any music, performed anywhere or had any band practices.
Wow..that band page has a lot of likes..wait, have they even written any music? What a facebook band!
When a musical group sounds just right as a whole - they are synchronized, supplement (together), and complement (off beat) each other, sounding complete and not overdone.

A person who critisizes bands that he/she does not like, simply because they dislike the music, so to them the band is therefore crap as a whole, regardless of what anyone else says or how highly revered the band actually are.

It is a person who is very good at band; who loves to be in the band or loves to play music for the band.

The Dan Band is best well known as the wedding band from the movie Old School, in which they performed a profane arrangement of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” (they also performed the song "Lady"), and as the Bat Mitzvah band performing a sultry, seductive, and maybe pedophilic version of George Benson’s “I feel like making love” in the movie Starsky & Hutch.
The lead singer of the band is Dan Finnerty and he is originally from Bath, New York.
The band’s first LP was released in April, 2005 on Side One Dummy Records and is a live recording of one of their many sold out shows.

I wouldn't even call these "bands" because they play no instruments and can barely sing. To make matters worse, every one follows the same formula:
-- the good looking guy;
-- the talented guy (the only one who can actually sing);
-- the shy, quiet guy;
-- the "older brother" type; and
-- the "bad boy."
Boy bands are creepy. Here's 5 guys in their late-twenties and early-thirties who sing love songs to 12- and 13-year-old girls! Boy bands make R. Kelly look like the Patrib Saint of Chastity!
