A noun generalizing the end of a relationship between two people, wherein one partner (usually the woman) slowly disassociates from contact, affection and/or attention from the other partner over a period of time (days or weeks).
Jonathan: So how are things going with your boy?
Jill: Eh, I'm not feeling him as much as I was before. I'm thinking of pulling an Operation Fade Away.
Jonathan: That's not cool. You should tell him right now that you're not into him, rather than dragging it out.
A small tip given to an unattractive stripper so that she will walk away and stop obscuring your view of the more attractive dancers.
Chris: That she-hulk dancer is staring right at us!
Laurence: Give her some Go away money so we can see Princess Leah dance again.

a friend or person who is only considered a friend when they are needed or used by another. Other times, the person will ignore them.
a person who isn't really a friend, but just being used.
a temporary friend who is only there until you're bored of them.
Sara is Jane's throw-away friend. Jane never calls her unless she needs homework help.

“The one that got away” is an ex who has an exalted place among your past loves. She is the one you focus about. This ex was a good person, your breakup didn't change your opinion about this. She's someone who deserves love in their lives, someone another person would be lucky to be with.

An exceptionally fun event that typically occurs on a periodic basis (once/twice a year). It is an event joined by a group of married (or previously married) close male friends for the purposes of a weekend of unbridled joy.
The weekend includes activities normally enjoyed only by men.
Some of these activities include:
- Drinking
- Camping
- Cooking food on an open fire
- Partying by a campfire
- Frank discussions about unusual/interesting sexual events of the previous year
- The act of telling recurring jokes, recurring themes or digs on various parties in the group
- Practical jokes
- Long hikes into the wilderness
- Dangerous stunts
- Exchange of secrets the men wouldn't tell their significant other
- Tomfoolery
- Contests of manhood (lifting large objects, swim contests, etc)
- Dares (daring random women to "show me your tits!")
Often the weekend's events create incredibly vivid memories that can (and will) be discussed by this group of friends ad-nauseum (for their wives) until the next weekend event.
When is the next guys' weekend away dude?? I need a break from the wife and kids, and could use a couple days of pure joy!

A person who chooses to: 1.list several things they are going to be doing in the time following the setting of the away message to the time that that they return, 2.explain in unnecessary detail of the adventures that they are partaking in, or 3.someone who is leaving for a trip and decides to leave an extensive list of things they will be doing.
"My friend is such an 'away message author', he completely makes an elaborate story about what he's doing!"
Ex.1.- Hey, i'm not here, i'm going to wal-mart, then to the mall, then to the bathroom, then home, then.....
Ex.2.- i'm gone right now. i'm at the mall with friends. i'm going to go see a movie, pay $3.50 for a bag of popcorn, leave half of the bag uneaten, throw it away, enjoy the movie, leave, go drive to.....
Ex.3.- sorry, im not here, i'm in houston watching a baseball game. so i could be:
a. in a car
b. getting gas
c. eating candy
d. drinking soda
e. watching the game
f. driving home
g. .....
