The Mac OS pointer icon of a colorful spinning wheel indicating the program currently under the mouse pointer is no longer responding. Called the beachball of death if the program never recovers or causes the operating system to become so busy (usually due to insufficient memory) that nothing else responds.
I ran a new shareware program, but killed it after I got the beachball of death.

A person who feigns closeness with someone who has recently died in order to receive sympathy and/or attention. Usually achieved by social media, this person will embellish or exaggerate a relationship with the deceased, giving a false impression that they were close friends.
"Wow, she sure seems to be sad about Bob's death. I didn't even know they were friends." "They weren't. She's a death groupie."
Death Bears are stuffed teddy bears and or other various stuffed animals that are left at a location where someone has died tragically - usually as the result of homicide. They are almost always affixed to a tree, utility pole, fence or street sign near or at the crime scene using nails, wire, twine, string, or ribbon.
Death Bears are often accompanied by empty liquor, beer, wine or champagne bottles including, but not limited to, 1800 Silver Tequila, Grey Goose Vodka, Seagram's Vodka, Skyy Vodka, New Amsterdam Vodka, Remy Martin, Hennessey, Moet, Boone's Farm, Steel Reserve 211, Magnum and Colt 45. Custom made "Rest-In-Peace" (R.I.P.) style t-shirts bearing the victim's photo, candles, balloons, personal knick-knacks and sometimes actual police crime scene tape can also be present with Death Bears.
Death Bears are left by family members, relatives, friends, acquaintances, neighbors and sometimes complete strangers in remembrance of the victim in the form of a memorial shrine.
"Man, I wish the city would send someone out to clean up all those Death Bears that were left on the corner last week after that gang-banger got smoked in a drive-by."

A form of music that developed in the mid 1980's from thrash. Possessed recorded a song entitled "Death Metal" in 1984, which would appear on their debut album Seven Churches in 1985. Other bands such as Aggression, Death, Necrophagia, Nun Slaughter, Slaughter Lord and even Slayer contributed to the movement. What defined death metal was the fact that it was basically an exaggerated form of thrash--everything from the vocals (which transformed into a mix of growling, grunting and rasping) to the drumming was made harsher and heavier than before. The music itself became somewhat anti-rhythmic, and in some cases experimental (as seen with Darkthrone's Goatlord album, or the modern technicality of Necrophagist). The first bands to really modernize the movement included Autopsy, Cannibal Corpse, the virtually unkown Necrovore, Morbid Angel, Obituary, and Ripping Corpse, among others. Death metal could range from the blood and gore horror imagery of Cannibal Corpse, to the satanic overtones of Deicide, to the political statements carried by Dying Fetus. Some criticize death metal as they feel the musicians do nothing but randomly band their instruments. Nothing could be further from the truth--listen to Morbid Angel's album Covenant, for instance, or Cannibal Corpse's Gore Obsessed, to get a better perspective on the scene.
Older Sepultura is a mix of death metal and thrash metal, commonly referred to as death thrash.
