Imperial system

An awfully effective, real-world-based system of weights and measures still used in some countries such as the US and partly in the UK - despite the almost dictatorial pronuniciamentoes of the EU 'Yurp'} that everything must be measured in some - mis-measured - micro-fraction of the Earth's semi-demi-circumference.
Revolves around measuring weight, length, distance and energy etc. in units that actually do make sense - inch - called 'un pouce' in French is the length of the first digit of your thumb; span is the span of a man's hand fingers outstretched; a foot - 'un pied' in French - is - well . . . - the length of a foot; a yard is a pace or step; acre is the area a horse will plough in a day 220yards by 22 yards; a chain - 22 yards - is the length of a cricket pitch. And so on.
Unlike the metric system which may have been taken on board by most countries and is used in - almost - all science - the brightness of nebulae is - please note - measured in crabs and millicrabs; but you knew that.

Seriously, metric works for scienfitc calculations. But - when did you last have to work out the weight of an inch of rain falling on an acre (versus a centimetre of rain on a hectare!).

Goliath was six cubits and a span; those Imperial units equate - in other Imperial units - to an improbabble nine foot eight tall.
Now, the metric equivalent is 2,95m (equally improbable, but not blindingly obvious to a lay man).
"The Imperial system relates to human beings, and the things they are familiar with," said Nichola to her pal Nic; "It can be used for recondite scientific calculations, but metric may well be better for those."

closed system

When a person goes off by themself with their laptop, primarily to the bathroom, sits on a towel, and proceeds to masturbate

Dude, did you make a closed system just now?

Multiple Systems

They're just like multiple personality disorder/dissociative identity disorder, only it's absolutely bullshit, and completely fake. Used by low-lives and losers as an excuse to like themselves, in the same vein as self-diagnosed Asperger's syndrome. Usually, these people call their "personalities" people, or headmates, or some other shit. Their alleged headmates are usually fictional characters from TV shows, which, most of the time, is some typical fandom shared by geeky teenage girls everywhere. These people fight avidly to get their headmates recognized as people, and to stop "discrimination".

On the flip side, DID is a real condition, therapist induced or otherwise. Even identities/personalities in this disorder AREN'T RECOGNIZED AS ACTUAL PEOPLE. They're psychological constructs with autonomous control of the host.

Multiple Systems: "We are a multiple system of 593,000 different headmates, from over 9000 different shows. From Goku to The Doctor to Charlie Sheen, they're all there. In my head. But, I don't have a mental disorder, I am naturally multiple. And these are all people, real ones. I am all these different people in one body."
Normal People: "Seems legit."
Multiple Systems: "You don't believe me? DISCRIMINATION!"

system of a down

System of a Down is a metal band made to display opinions of the band members. While it originally rocked ass, like most good bands, it started slipping up and losing it's quality. They originally knew what they were doing, until a mistake in lyrics.

SOAD is not for people who have an IQ lower than average, or people who are over 52 years old. SOAD continues to be decent, but previously they were extremely good.

If one were to listen to "Steal This Album", one would find a very original and interesting mix of music styles that is still able to retain a very politically inclined and even crazy style. "Hypnotize", the latest album at the time of the creation of this post, will be a great difference in listen. If you would like more information, go to the following wiki:

System of a Down is a rather good band, otherwise, and I suggest a listen.

System of a down

They are the best goddamn group, the most beautiful and exquisite music I have ever listened to. the first time I heard system of a down, I knew, I would love it. I love system of a down more than god, hell, I love system of a down more than anything else. when I heard the song shimmy, forest and streamline I felt myself ascend. not to god but to system of a down. system of a down is the god. system of a down is life. live laugh love soad.

Me - ''Yo you listen to system of a down?''
Some little ๐Ÿฅuntface - ''Who? oh, that shitty group where all they do is scream? No. of course not. their music is so meaningless, Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo are so much better.''
Me - ''How fucking dare you say that to my face about soad. your head is so up your ass, have you ever even read their lyrics? if your little piece of a shit mouth tries saying anything like that about soad again, I will shove you down the grave of your grandma so she can see how bad of a person you became.''
