false ten

When someone seems much hotter then they actually are because the other people around are ugly. For example, when you are at work, there's a limited amount of people to look at so the hottest person might seem like a 10 but they are actually a 6 because everyone else you work with is super ugly.

Our gym teacher is a false ten because all of the other teachers I work with are fat and ugly.

Implicit false dichotomy

We're seeing a lot of that recently in the discourse around "Victimhood"

Hym "And how it works is basically like this: So-and-so will sarcastically say 'Well this person is clearly a victim.' And what they are insinuating is that the person is 'acting as though they are a victim even though they are are not.' This creates the implicit false dichotomy between 'People who act like victims' and 'People who don't.' The former are 'The bad ones' and the latter are 'The good ones.' Sound familiar? It's the 'good one/bad one frame.' I'VE WRITTEN ABOUT THAT BEFORE! REMEMBER!? It's a framing tool they like to use! See it!? And that's all it is. It doesn't mean anything."

False shark

One way you know people that say that they are sharks are not sharks is sharks don't try to run off other animals. Sharks can also swim without the use of tanks and scuba diving apparatus, that's another way you know that people aren't like sharks, even if they claim to be.

He/she must have been in a silly mood when he/she claimed to be a shark, but nobody thought he/she wasn't a false shark when he/she made the claim.

False shark

One way you know someone claiming to be a shark is not a shark is sharks don't run other animals off. Another way you know someone who claims to be a shark is not a shark is sharks don't need tanks and scuba apparatus to swim deep underwater, their bodies are made for their environment, which is not a natural environment for humans.

The false shark said he/she was a shark, despite a lack of similarity to the underwater animals.
