Trickle-down Management

Trickle-down management, similar to trickle-down economics, is when the people on the top shit on the people at a lower level than them and it is evenly distributed.
Helps if you're full of it.

Progressive Change Management (PCM) is the collective set of activities leveraged to increase user adoption. PCM allows an organization to initiate change management activities early in the process and in parallel to the actual configuration of the system. As the project progresses closer to testing and training, the change management activities must increase in both frequency and in content depth.

By leveraging Progressive Change Management, the organization was able to reduce post go-live issues and support efforts.

manager stick

A small plastic stick that upper management will carry around if they work in a job that requires a lot of cleaning/janitorial work. The stick is ineffective but looks impressive. They only can use it to grab small pieces of trash. Much less useful than a broom or a dustpan.

It is a way for upper management to claim they are "working with the employees" but doesn't make them do much work.

When I see the general manager wielding his manager stick, I wonder how many other people can see through the facade.
