Any person from the Lake County are from Northwest Indiana. They have to have grown up, went to school and know landmarks only Region Rats know. They know what the history of "The Region" is because more than likely, they were part of it. Region Rats also never loose touch with other Region Rats. No matter how far you move away, you always come back to "The Region" for one reason or another.

A methamphetamine user. Jib rats are known for their extreme paranoia, flagrant dishonesty, and lack of trustworthy friends. A jib rat will steal your stuff and then help you look for it.
If you let those god damned jib rats come to your party, don't expect to have your stereo in the morning.
Grinded marijuana that falls from the desk, table, or flat surface onto the floor that then and only then becomes the weed of the rats that inhabit what is most likely a New York apartment but can be any home that has rats or mice. Depending on geographic location, preference and/or upbringing the weed is legally belonging to the lowest net worth individual who lives in the home where the weed has fallen to the ground, otherwise the weed cannot be smoked and must be left for the rats. If the lowest net worth individual is caught purposely pushing weed from the flat surface area that holds the grounded weed, then he must buy quadruple the amount of weed that had fallen onto the ground.

A Pipe Rat refers to a person who spends an stupid amount of time in the half pipe snowboarding or skiing.
Snowboard Pipe Rats are easily spotted by their tall tee's, pants hanging half-way off their asses, dude-speak, and the inability to ski or ride on the big mountain. Exposure to Pipe Rats can lead to decreased ambition, severe dude-tude and a general lack of skills on the rest of a ski hill.
I don't know what's funnier, the way that Pipe Rat is dressed, or the fact that he has a haircut that makes him look like Bruno?

Station Rat
a station rat is someone who hangs around at stations scabbing ciggys that wears clothes like dada, wu tang, everlast, addidas, champion etc
also shoes like pull ons with no laces, dirty white addidas, everlast runners etc.
They usually were old caps/hats with the brim bent into a triangular shape with the back of the hat tide with a hair tie or something if its to big for ther head.
Most of their clothes are out of date and look like they have been bought from a op shop basically they are stuck in the early 90's.
They usually have bad/crooked teeth or no teeth at all and look like they have slept the night at the station they smoke and take all sorts of drugs and drink alcohol at the station.

Person2:"yeh shes a feral ass station rat!"
