Any form of digital media (videos, images, etc.) made mostly or exclusively with generative artificial intelligence, with inaccurate, misleading, eye-catching, or otherwise silly content made to make a reader/viewer engage with it, usually to get clout (likes/favorites/whatever) and/or make money off of it if possible.

1: "Artificial intelligence shouldn't have been invented. Haven't you seen the immense amount of AI slop nowadays?"
2: "Yeah, it's insane."

AI slop

Low-quality randomly generated AI content (images, accounts, text, etc) that has been flooding social media sites among other pages.

Herbert: My Facebook timeline is full of AI slop now, it's completely unusable.

The hilarious, dangerous, or nonsensical AI generated hallucinations to search or prompt queries.

Also the fails of AI image generators which result in ridiculous, grotesque, and/or physically impossible images

I asked Google for help because my cheese wasn't sticking to my pizza, and I got AI slop telling me to add 1/8th cup of non-toxic glue to the recipe
