The Scene subculture (aka. Scene people, scenesters, trendies) is all about experimenting with alternative fashion and discovering new music. Fashion for scene girls usually consists of dyed hair (usually teased) and bright clothing. Fashion for scene guys however is usually darker and more emo/hardcore looking. Band shirts and skinny jeans are VERY common in the scene subculture, along with skate shoes. Common music styles associated with scene are crunkcore, metalcore, deathcore, emo, screamo, and pretty much all electronic music. Crunkcore is the most popular genre, for now.

a scene kid usually dresses in obserd outfits given for the weather outside or other events. they listen to emo music but more recently have begun to listen to "hardcore" and "thrash" to this music it is a scene kids job to flail and thrash in mosh pits and other dancing circles, this dance might seem obserd but is actually quite popular and can be found at all rock concerts. a scene kid can be identified by facial piercings, dyed hair, tight pants, bright clothing and or hair, a bandana, thick eye liner, a skateboard, and other items usually chactorized as "emo" the difference between emo and scene is that scene kids are more fun and enjoy living life and are trying to stand out rather then fade to the back of the room in a corner writing poetry. however it is ironic that both emo and scene are a fad going around that is against fads.

A band of happy fairy children,who's favourite past-time involves skipping round in as small circles. However, none of them would DREAM of skipping more than 3 times in the same direction, as the act of becoming dizzy, and therefore intoxicated, is a terrible offense. Also, they know that skipping 4 times round a circle the same direction would send them straight to the moon, and without the proper preparations and training, it can be exceedingly dangerous. Many sad deaths have been caused this way. It is this that has caused many seemingly harmless, happy Scene Kids to cross the border into Emoistica.

a style of fags that completely spits on metal and what metal once was. you cant tell the difference between male and female sometimes because for some reason way beyond me thats whats "cool" scene kids are a plague to metal because they think bands like the devil wears prada, bring me the horizon, parkway drive and stuff like that is hardcore when most scene kids think theyre brutal they will go to actual metal concerts and sit in the back and stand around like retarded ass hats. scene kids are the worst thing to spawn out of metal and suicide silence, whitechapel, the acacia strain etc are NOT nor will they ever be real metal. deathcore (excluding some) is now mostly aimed to scene styles and what scene kids like to hear with the long greasy ass hair gay low v cut shirts and slipper things. scene kids pretty much take the jock, metalhead/rocker, emo, and gangster styles. scene kids dont deserve the air they breathe

half the people on here who've made articles on scene kids probably have no real idea of what one is!
if you knew anything about scene kids you would understand that although alot of them can be complete twats and faggots, they are actually nice people. alot of my friends are scene kids and they hate the fact that many people dislike them just because of the way they dress. scene kids often dress in skinny jeans and band tops, but the girls also wear shorts/skirts with tights or leggings and usually bright jewelry and hama bead design necklaces.
they normally have blonde or dark brown/black hair with some form of highlights but not always. some wear extensions but i know some with short hair.
next time you see someone you assume to be a scene kid, dont automatically reject them.
