Don't leave horsepower in the showroom

A metaphorical rule to live by: don't make the mistake of choosing the cheaper option to save a buck in the short run, when you'll curse yourself later for not getting the better-grade product/service in the long run.

Eric: "What was I thinking buying that Porsche with the V-4 instead of the V-6 -- it handled like a Formula 1 car but is a total slug in a straight line!"
Tim: "Dude, you broke rule number 1 -- don't leave horsepower in the showroom."
And so --
Maddie: "This well Margarita sucks -- why didn't I get the Cadillac for two bucks more?"
Amy: "Exactly. Don't leave horsepower in the showroom, sweetie."

Almost the same as "Go fuc* yourself".

1.Him: Arnold do you wanne join my cruise ?
Arnold: Go fuc* yourself.

2.Him: Arnold do you wanne join me ?
Arnold : Leave me , in your mother .

A saying of the US Marines

The more pain a Marine endures, the stronger he becomes.

If a Marine feels pain after working out, it means he had a good workout and physical weakness is leaving his body.

protester: "ouch my lungs hurt from smoking pot, and my arms hurt from holding this protest sign."

Marine: "Pain is weakness leaving the body."

Take it or leave it, mein furrier

Similar to "Take it or leave it"(i.e. "this is your only option") but with a more sardonic edge.

I think this comes from a special edition of the Gilbert Shelton cartoon strip "Fat Freddie's Cat", in which the eponymous character narrowly escapes a genetically modified death at the hands of a mad, well, furrier.

Kid: What is there for dinner?
Dad: I'm cooking lasagne
Kid: wailing I don't like that
Dad: Well, take it or leave it, mein furrier
