mannequin mode

A state that is reached when one has run out of options. Usually takes place in a social situation when you cannot play possum and are forced to talk to somebody you do not want to speak to. Usually makes the victim appear as a "mannequin" in a completely frozen position.

Psycho Chico/a: Why was it when I went in to kiss you, you froze?

Normal Person: It's a defense mechanism, when I can't feign sleep or death I go into mannequin mode.

When you don't give a shit about nothing or have no emotion towards anything

It's in which, not only are conditions at their most difficult, but the player also has but one life to live before the game resets.

Dan: Do you think you can win the whole game?
Me: I don't think so. The game was set in hardcore mode and I might die soon

HAX Mode

Usually used in online Role-Playing games HAX Mode refers to when one makes oneself invincible and almost god-like can be seen in other online games or even in real liffe situations as well.

Dude 1: OMG he just blocked my ultimate laser
Dude 2: Duh he's in HAX Mode you idiot

Dude 1: Dammit Uryuu Ishida used Quincy Final Form
Dude 2: Yeah your about to be owned he just went into HAX Mode

ghost mode

When a driver of a vehicle turns all of their lights off (especially headlights) during driving at night.

Kyle went into ghost mode and I freaked out, what if someone hit us!

Goblin Mode

When one is in a mood where they only care about shiny or mildly pretty things no matter how worthless(even trash), stealing, and (importantly) being mischievous in general.

Brad: "Yo, my girlfriend is acting like a magpie this week, like yesterday she went to the beach and she came back with like 10 pounds of shells, shiny rocks, bottle caps, and sea glass."
Kyle: "Almost sounds like she's in Goblin Mode."
Brad: "She's in total Goblin Mode; she keeps stealing my socks, pins from my collection, and hair ties. She also turned the cases of all my games upside, which is kinda funny, but also really annoying.
Kyle: "Stealing and mischief. I diagnose her with Goblin Mode."
