Widener is a place where at night you stay on your side of the bridge, and DO NOT CROSS or being robbed or shot is coming your way. Otherwise it’s pretty safe. It’s a place where parties thrive if the sports teams are kicking ass (especially football). Pornstars even come to the parties aka Tiffany Banister. The pride ride on those late Saturday nights come in clutch, and Maggie Mays campus bar thrives on Thursday nights. Our frats got kicked off campus a while back so we reside in the off campus houses in Sun Hill. You never know what’s going to occur whether it be a drunk grandma walking the streets at 1 am or the little chesterites challenging you to a dance battle. Can’t beat the place. 5 stars!
You never know what to expect at Widener University.
A neighborhood in Chicago just south of the main campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Residents are usually either students at UIC, or young urban professionals (especially in the Ivy Hall apartments). The neighborhood is close to downtown Chicago, and is also adjacent to Greektown, Little Italy, and Pilsen. Because of this, living in University Village means you have every type of restaurant you could imagine nearby.
Residents usually call it UVillage

Shit son, there are so many options in University Village. I can't decide!
Because of the COVID pandemic in 2020, all schools switched over to a business meeting app called "Zoom" to teach. Note that the app also lets you turn off your camera, microphone, and 90% of the time the teacher doesn't give a shit what you're doing anyways. This was CLEARLY a great idea.
