future snare

A frequency modulation technique, oscillating between 48 to 143 bpm, of a combination transer and panning effect operating on the reverb applied to the trailing tail of a snare punch, that gives the listener the illusion of signal polarity shift.

Increase the wobble on that future snare.

Future snare would have my head wobbling.

mid-future

The point after carrying out a bad idea, at which you immediately realize it was a bad idea.

Johns car overheated, so he pulled to the side of the road to check it out. Without thinking about it, he grabbed a paper towel and used it to protect his hand from the heat as he removed the radiator cap. I'm sure John thought this was a perfect mid-future situation as the boiling antifreeze from the radiator sprayed all over his arms and face.

Future Gash

A girl who you are neither dating, nor sleeping with yet, who is a dead cert to sleep with you in the near future.

Guy 1: Hey, was that chick last night your girlfriend?
Guy 2: Nah, i don't get tied down, she was just a tasty bit of future gash.

[Future Retro]

An English style that is the new New Rave but not as lame. It's basicaly bright colours and lots of plastic acessories, especialy bracelets, lego necklaces and fake Ray Ban sunglasses.
Why? It's fun.

''Oo, Jamiee, those bracelets from Clare's
Accessories?''
''Why yes, they are. Very Future Retro I thought''

Futurism over Function

When certain features or basic functions present on a new product are changed for the sake of "innovation" with no consideration for practicality.

"It just feels like the thought process was 'well, let's change these designs, because that's what innovators do. And also it will get attention,' without actually improving on the old designs, or thinking about actual problems with the old designs that could be solved. See, what's happening here is not uncommon for Tesla and some other car companies, but specifically any of Elon's companies. I don't know if there's a name for it yet, so I'm just gonna call it Futurism over Function."
