This name is given to someone particularly horrendous who spreads awareness to animal rights and support for the environment of mythical creatures. A "Kathy Hag" could also be someone who constantly speaks with profanity and explicit languages around minors.

Friend 2: I did, she got suspended for making fun of mom.

Common examples are girls with colorful miniskirts on over jeans and sheer sweaters over bright t-shirts, and guys with cardigans over plaid and vintage fake leather jackets with scarves. Named so because of their often hag-like appearance due to their layered, unmatching clothing.
