House of Boxes

Houses that all appear the same, one after another in the same area. Can also mean Apartments too.
The term was mostly used in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

The term is used frequently in Katherine Mansfield's short story 'How Pearl Button was Kidnapped' written in 1912.

House of Gold

1.) To “Give someone a House of Gold” doesn’t refer to a literal house of gold, but rather the idea of opulence and joy. Caring enough for someone to go through hardship and evils of the world for them, with the ultimate end goal for both individials to be well off or content in the name of love.
