A truth dare is where you would dare someone to do something that you do not believe that they have done before. If they have then the dare-er receives two immediate dares, if the dare-ee declines or is unable to they must do something that they can do (within some reason).
Lynn: I truth dare you to stick a paper clip in the electrical socket.
Eugene: Nope not going to do it.
Lynn: You know the rule, I want you to strip for me.
Eugene: Fine by the rules of the truth dare I will strip for you.

A veiled or masked truth that is actually a downright lie.
Even though you worked your scheduled hours and by law it is called overtime, management tells you that massaging the truth to reflect it as comp time or flex time.

Internet Truth = Lies. Internet Truth is all the BS people expect you to believe, but you hear so much of it you never know who to believe.
