Winning an election slowly but definitively.
In 2020, Biden won slowly, but after all the votes were counted he won by a significant margin. It was a Slow Slide to victory.
Comparable to "hold on" or "hold up". Said in a state of confusion to someone saying something that you not quite following.
"Did you know birds die when they have sex?"

"Yeah, well the one I fucked did."

They also like to stop in the middle of walkways to talk with friends and to act surprised when you get annoyed and ask them to move. The most efficient way to deal with such people is to (as rudely as possible) tell them to move.
