modern music

What starts out initially sounding like pure crap, because it gets overplayed.

After many years pass, it starts sounding good.

1996: The Spice Girls plays on the radio non-stop.

"Yo tell you what I want what I really really want..."

"NOOOOO, MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCREW MODERN MUSIC!"

2010: 14 years after it is released, you hear it on YouTube.

"Yo tell you what I want what I really really want..."

"Ahhh, good old music. They don't make it as good as it was anymore."

Metal Music

An amazing type of music that is heavy at times that unfortunately gets a lot of disrespect and hate by degenerates that are into Mumble Rap.

Me: “Damn, this new Iron Maiden album slaps so hard!”
Degenerate Mumble Rap fan: “Nobody cares. This “Metal Music” sounds like total screamo, Ratio + Cope + L + Seethe + Mald”
Me: “Well why would you respond, do you even know what Metal Music even sounds like?”
Degenerate Mumble Rap fan: “Yah, it sounds like screamo”
Me: “Do you even know what Screamo is? Go listen to your shitty Mumble Rappers that start with “Lil” in their stage name that sound like they’re having a mental disorder and stroke.”

Music Thief

Music Thief:
1.) Someone who hears a song on your playlist and catches that you say that it's your favorite song. They soon download the whole album and brag to you about how much they love it.

2.) Someone who listens to the music everyone else is listening to but wants to be "different" so they find a decent band an show all their friends and then that band is ruined because some stupid kid wanted to be different and now a bunch of other stupid kids are ruining it more.

Ex1. Girl With A Good Taste In Music- "This is my favorite song. It's called REDLIGHT DISTRICT by Porcelain and the Tramps."

Music Thief- "Ohh, it sounds cool. I dunno if it's my style or not..."

*3 days later*

"OMG HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEW PORCELAIN AND THE TRAMPS ALBUM??? IT'S SO BRUTAL AND HARDCOREEEEE."

Girl With A Good Taste In Music- "Would you shut up and go hang yourself from a ceiling fan? Industrial is NOT brutal. Do you even know what you're saying? Why don't you go ruin someone else's music because I actually LIKE this band, thanks."

Ex2. Stupid kid- "Everyone's listening to Forever The Sickest Kids. I want to be different. There's a shirt at my favoriitee store Hot Topic where all my stupid scene friends shop that says White Chapel. I should listen to them."

Appreciative listener- "NOOO DON'T TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME TOO!"

Stupid Kid- "Look at this cool band guys!"
Stupid kid's friends- "Like ohmygawd thats wicked br00tal. Let's be obnoxious and sport these t-shirts around and act like nobody understands or has heard the music we listen to because we are so different."

Appreciative listener- "Shit, now I have to take White Chapel off of my iPod..."

Trap Music

Trap is a branch of rap music, and is about life on the streets. Trap lyrics are about manufacturing, selling, and using drugs, as well as some other aspects of life on the street. The name comes from the word "trap" which refers to a place where drugs are sold illegally. It originated in the Southern United States. Atlanta, Georgia is typically credited for being the birthplace of trap music. Some pioneers of trap are Young Jeezy, TI, and Gucci Mane. TI coined the term with his 2003 album "Trap Muzik." Trap music is known for having fast paced, high bpm beats with a lot of bass. It originated in the late 1990s - early 2000s, and became popular in the late 2000s - early 2010s.

-Just because a rap song has a high bpm doesn't mean it's trap music. Its about the lyrics: If they aren't rapping about the trap, then it isn't trap music.
-Trap is one of the most popular genres of music, even though most people don't know the meaning behind the lyrics and know nothing about life in the trap.
-Later on, in the early 2010's, drill rap originated in the South Side of Chicago as a branch of trap music.
