An adjective used to describe a person who is not otherwise part of the action being described, often participating haphazardly.
Joe: After the Mongo Boys sprayed me with paint balls, a guy came up to me and poured a bucket of water on my head.
Mel: Was he part of the Mongo Boys group that attacked you?
Joe: No, he was just some random guy in the crowd.

Describing a sequence of numbers generated by a deterministic computer that is seemingly random, but eventually repeats. Good pseudo-random number generators have very long periods before the sequence repeats.
The date Easter falls on is pseudo-random in that it cannot be predicted off the top of someone's head, and it takes 5.7 million years for the sequence to repeat.
To generate a pseudo-random number in C, you'd use the Rand(); function.

A guy that shows up in hot girls' photos on Facebook as a prop for any occasion that requires a male to be there for the good times. He often appears in photos from beach vacations where excessive alcohol has been consumed and no husbands are present.
