Yam

Meaning to blatanty rip some off. The word has been circulating around english urban areas, historically from areas where Jamaican drug gangs have been prevalent, possibly originating from the potato like vegetable which is the stable diet of many west indian immigrants from the 1950's onwards. Regularly used in situations where drug deals have been arranged only for one of the parties to blatantly rip the other party off, usually with the aid of a firearm.
