Something people made up to make a social construct
Aka another thing that should be abolished
"they are so normal." "Don't call people "normal" it's not a thing."
There is no new normal, just like there was no normal. People were a bit dysfunctional at the best of times, and that's one of the things some are trying to take from them.
No matter what the media, the WHO, scientists, healthcare officials, or the government tells people, there never was any normal to begin with, to compare a new normal to.
Normal is normal, new is new. New doesnt become normal, it becomes obsolete one day.
A lot of technology that was once new is now obsolete. It never became the new normal because there is no new normal. Normal is normal. Being normal and functional is most important to the people that always claim they dont care what anybody thinks in the first place. Another word for normal is plain, which is not much different than bland.
Life has always been a bit dysfunctional for most people. That hasn't changed due to the pandemic, and it's not going to change after the pandemic.
There is no such thing as normal, and there is no such thing as a new normal. Life will remain dysfunctional for most people no matter what comes their way.
There are many, many definitions for this word. Being "normal" can be seen in both a positive and negative light. Some people want to stand out, others are just different and wish they were the same.
