When a typical medium(oils, acrylics, water color, pastels, etc.) artist converts to doing artwork digitally due to time restraints, lack of working space and more manipulative capabilities using editing software such as Adobe PhotoShop, PaintShop Pro, Wacom tablets or a mouse, etc. to render a final piece of art. These pieces of art are called Pixel Paintings. Artists that create artwork this way are called Pixal Artists as coined by the noted South Carolina Artist, Roderick A. Jackson. Jackson also started the nationally recognized art group called Exodus - The Artist Collective.
I love the way his new theme of pixel paintings are turning out; so like like and true to the original artistic style.

A term used to describe something really valuable by someone who obviously doesn't have a PhD...especially in Art History or Music.
Be careful, I have got some mozart paintings back there.
