In the Incredibles, as if it wasn't terrible all ready that moment where everyone knows that the remote, controls the robot - yet violet decides to say "the remote controls the robot" making everyone annoyed and leading to the robot dying - from a heart attack due to the sheer sarcastic disbelief of it all.
People use it in situations that are blatantly obvious e.g if everyone knows what has happened yet a person decides to repeat it in verbal form: thus making everyone extremely annoyed. Example:
-Dave walking along and trips-
Stephen: You should have watched out for that pavement!
Dave: Oh Really? "The remote controls the robot"
Stephen: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.....

A state of consciousness. The Spinal Tap "11" version of a hangover. Delusional , mechanical, mentally-rusted "not right" feeling.
Man, i snorted mad addy and drank a lot of cheap whiskey at that co-op party. I can't account for like three hours of the evening or my journey home and I had broken robot syndrome this morning; tried to walk down the block and got confused.

A very good example of a Telegram Group management bot which is made by Eldian Community.
It is basically a modular Telegram Python bot running on python3 with a sqlalchemy database and an entirely themed persona to make Gabi suitable for Anime and Manga group chats.
The bot also has a jealousy feature which causes others to shitpost about the bot.
Person 1: Hey are there any bots which are underestimated but are insanely awesome
Person 2: Ever heard of Gabi Braun Robot?
Person 1: Ah that bot that's op but retards don't wanna admit it
