An alternative to the grociery store. This word was created as a result of playing with the English language for personal leisure. A mix and match, so to speak.

Google Play Store > App Store
Google Play Store has a much larger selection of apps and games than the iOS app store. It is easier to separate the good apps from the bad. It is also much easier to publish apps, hence the larger and more diverse selection.

See dime. A nickel and dime store is a group of mixed dimes and non-dimes, i.e. attractive and unattractive people.
Some of those chicks over there are hot, but the others aren't, it's a nickel and dime store.
