music much like alternative. almost punk but posers dont listen to it. also known as indie rock people that watch anime and read comic books and watch adult swim tend to listen to indie rock, and often not even know it.
The Stranglers, Slightly Stupid, some of weezer,and 311 are all excelent examples of independent rock music, or indie rock
