1)Derogatory term for honkies. Mostly used by African-americans, but it is also used by Hispanics, Hindus, and other minorities.
2)White people are the only people that can call whiteies this and not be taken as derogatory, taking a different meaning than the first. "Cracka" would also be acceptable in this case.
3)Tasty, dry, thin, salty bread-based things that are usually square, with lots of little ridges on the edges. Commonly crumbled and placed in soup. They can be dipped in thick, gooey, or watery food such as: peanut butter, melted cheese, salsa, taffy, caramel, etc., then eaten. Also, it can have small food, or small wedges of large food placed upon it.

1. A racist term used by blacks and Asians for white people. Derived either from the cracking sound of a slave owner's whip or that crackers are generally the same color as a white's skin. Synonyms: Honkey, Whitey.

Despite popular cultural references slave owners who had many slaves had a cracker slave who would crack the whip and whip slaves who didn't work. If a slave owner did not have many slaves they would have to whip their own slaves. This was a sought after "job" for slaves because they didn't have to work as hard as the rest of the slaves.
Cracker slave or slave owner would whip slaves who didn't work hard.

Word used by black people to remind white people of slavery at any given opportunity, often implying that the white person being called "cracker" is responsible.
My family came to America from Europe around the turn of the century, after slavery was illegal, yet I am still a cracker.
