Meese Day

July 1st Holiday Celebration in the Loadout video game community.

This comes from the Loadout Community where a non-native english speaking player was attempting to ask about Canadian holidays and if, in fact, Canada had a day celebrating the "meese species" in chat. After some confusion it was discovered that he was asking if Canada had a day celebrating the moose. It snowballed from there and has taken over the entire community.

Meese Day was first celebrated July 1st 2013.

I'ts July 1st. Happy Meese Day!

Haagen Days

A special commemorative weekend that marks the existence of the one and only Haagen Dazs ice cream.

During the town’s annual Haagen Days celebration, my cousin was hospitalized for an acute brain freeze incident after ingesting about ten pints, back to back, in one of them there truly insane eat-all-you-can contests!

garbage day

A day of death (either your own or somebody else's, metaphorically or literally). It can be said as part of trash talk or more fittingly as a war cry or victory cry.

The phrase is usually said without pronoun and is followed by a maniacal (although not hysterical) laugh. It is a reference to a non-intentionally hilarious scene in the shitty 1987 film 'Silent Night, Deadly Night II.'

Dead guy: Dude, you shot me by surprise, although I did have enough time to stand around and shout "huh? no!"

Murderer: GARBAGE DAY! *shoots to kill, then looks at gun with new found admiration* Muha-ha ha-ha-ha.
