The mentality that most people on the vlogging side of YouTube had when the site was just getting started, back before being paid for making videos was a thing and YouTube gatherings were just a bunch of nerds standing in a field. The term was first used by Jazza John (rhymingwithoranges on youtube) in a video he did with Ashley Mardell to describe people who treat their favorite content creators like people, as opposed to objects.
Instead of treating her favorite YouTubers like unattainable celebrities, Amy treated them like they were her friends. She had the 2007 mentality.
(fill in blank) This term can be used everyday of the year, the first word can be replaced with pretty much anything! If it was EXTRAVAGANT, you can use it.
‘I just got back from Vegas, it was “Drunken Extravaaganza 2007” we had a blast!’
Or….
‘I went to a club the other day and lets just say it was “Sexy Bitchez Extravaganza 2007”!’
Or….
‘I’m trying to do my homework and all I seem to hear outside is “Gardener Extravaganza 2007”, it’s kinda hard to concentrate.’

Kids who think they are included in the 2000’s kids generations but are not. They know nothing about life as a 2000’s kid but claim they live through all of it when the real 2000’s kids stopped at 2005.
That 2007 kids has no idea about the 2000’s.
