9gag is a site where users post memes and upvote or downvote depending on how funny it Is. It's users are often caused from stealing memes from sites such as 4CHAN,REDDIT and TUMBLR.Often referred to as "reposting". There are many sites which dislike 9gag. They claim 9gagers(a person who uses 9gag) to be offensive,then proceed to call them "9fags".they claim the comments on post are offensive because the comment section is definitely not full of people who have no idea what's going on.thank god there's no other site where the comment section is stupid(YOU TUBE )subtle. Basically it's people posting images of cats,boobs and food. Marmite,9gag is marmite,either you love it or hate it.

A website for posting images (and occasionally videos, but they are usually frowned upon) that one thinks are funny. Then other users can "Like" or "Dislike" it. The "Vote" page is comprised of all the raw, newly uploaded posts which are then run through the gauntlet of voters. If the post gets enough likes, it moves on to the "Trending" page. This is where posts that enough people "Liked" go so that more people will get to see it and "Like" it if they want to. If it gets enough "Likes" from there, it moves on to the "Hot" page. These are the posts that have many thousands of "Likes" go and where they are immortalized. To get a post to the "Hot" page is the greatest aspiration one can have as a member of 9gag and to get one there is considered something of a badge of honor.

A horrible excuse for a website than mainly incorporates stolen materials and ideas from other legitimate websites. 9GAG is also a large source of child pornography.
I was going to get on the Internet today but then I remembered that 9GAG existed so I destroyed my computer out of frustration.
