Based on the principle of Yin & Yang-Theory, Vovinam aka Việt-Võ-Đạo, has a wide range of techniques that include punching, kicking, escape- and levering as well as forms of wrestling, sword, staff, axe, folding fan, long stick, short stick, knife, sabre and others combat techniques. Self defense techniques cover defense against weaponless attacks and defense against attacks with knife or sword.
