Central Europe

If written with capital letter (Central Europe), it means a cultural region, traditionally including countries between France and Russia. It can be understood as fluid, but generally makes sense on many levels and includes:
Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Ukraine, Hungary, Belarus, Slovakia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg...

In geographical meaning (central Europe), most Central European countries (like Switzerland, Poland or Germany) are entirely and quite deep in western Europe (geographically). The meaning of the word "central Europe" becomes a bit more fluid (depending on a definition of a centre), but usually includes: Lithuania (centre of gravity), Hungary (geometric midpoint), Estonia (if all the islands of Europe โ€“ from the Azores to Franz Joseph Land and from Crete to Iceland โ€“ are taken into consideration). You can call all countries around it (to a certain radious) central European.

A common mistake is to relegate c/Central European countries into "E/eastern Europe". That is offensive and ignorant not only for people in or from the countries but also well-educated people elsewhere.

Central Europe is the first place in the world where the first wholly web-based bank succeeded.

eastern europe

A very interesting, exciting and beautiful part in Europe. Has been under the communist rule in the past, now the majority of countries are heading towards capitalism and accepting more Western-European and American lifestyle.

Eastern Europeans are people with rich national history and heritage, strong family traditions and bonds. Although it is hard to generalize, most of EE appreciates friendship a lot and do not idolize McDonalds. EE'ns take life easy, drink a lot and don't listen to crap music.

Eastern European women are one of the most beautiful, sexy women that the Earth has seen.

Last but not least, Eastern Europeans are party people.

A: This girl on that billboard is stunning.
B: Yea, probably she is Eastern European.

A: Wow, see that girl? She's dressed so well.
B: Come on. When I was in high school in Bulgaria all girls dressed that well. No big deal.

A: Hey hey, that guy drank all the vodka that was supposed to be for all of us at the party.
B: Whatever. He's probably Eastern European.

A: Wow, that guy takes life easy. He is not obsessed with work, taxes and drama. Is he Jamaican?
B: I know that guy, he's Eastern European.

A: Hey, it's Friday night. Let's go to the Reading Club meeting.
B: Come on bro, let's go clubbing with out Eastern European friends.

Calling Europe

To throw up. It sounds like you are saying "Europe" when throwing up.

I drank so much last night I feel like I should be calling europe.

NFL Europe

NFL Europe is an offbranch of the NFL, which is of course the National Football League. NFL Europe is a league of six teams in Europe (duh). Often, starting players who aren't picked in the NFL Draft will go to Europe for the NFL Europe Draft. Many coaches in NFL Europe are players from the NFL.

Rarely Known Fact: NFL Europe teams are usually in NFL football videogames. They are after all the usual NFL teams. You can play as them, its rather strange seeing players youve never even remotely heard of before.

Joe: Hey Todd, you watching the SuperBowl this Sunday?
Todd: The SuperBowl was last Sunday, sillypants!
Joe: No, the NFL Europe SuperBowl!
Todd: Oh.

Eastern Europe

The Eastern half of Europe, as the name states, which contains about half of the European countries. Not to be mistaken with Western Europe.

Wow, I thought I bought a train ticket for Western Europe, but here I am, in Eastern Europe! Oops!
