Items we think we need and can't live without , usually expensive with little thought behind the purchase . compared to a sentimental item where price doesn't matter but the thought and meaning that subcomes the value.

(gaming) Legendary item in a video-game with a low drop chance (commonly below 1%) and/or difficult means of acquisition (like rare, expensive lootboxes), that is so powerful or abnormally well-designed to the point where gamers start "chasing" the item - spending long hours and big money to obtain it.
That mobile game got a new chase item...don't wanna know how many whale players spend hundreds to get it already.
