Vibrations, regardless of source, that are conveyed through one or more physical bodies (the most obvious being air), affect a "listening entity" and are interpreted first as "sound" and secondly as a conceptual statement, intentional or not. Generally designed by a cognizant creator, or composer. Purpose behind the creation of music ranges from the exploration of audible mathematical systems (ie: overtone series) to "shout outs" to said creator's "niggaz".

Music nowadays is sorta bad although some are good but the good ones are disliked by many people.
Electronic Music: Take a blender and put anything inside it
Pop Music: Women, Drugs and money
Rap Music: Background music louder than the rapper's voice
Raggeaton Music: Shoes,pickles,pineapples,sex and a recent made up word
Metal Music: What the fuck are they saying?

The last saving grace for humanity. Unlike much of today's pop music, which is only manufactured to make money, real music is emotion and sound that makes people feel. Unless you're dead inside, then that's your problem. Music breaks down barriers, music is life.
