In fact if you happen to be friends with a Valentine you should probably feel very priviliged considering she is one of the most popular girls in the school/ workplace/ etc. because she is very pretty so all the girls are jealous, and all of the boys are obssessed with her. Also she is probably really smart, so the teacher's all love her.
